Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the guise of sheep, but who are ravenous wolves in their hearts: you will recognize them by their fruits.

Non potest arbor bona malos fructus fácere: neque arbor mala bonos fructus fácere. Omnis arbor, quæ non facit fructum bonum, excidétur et in ignem mittétur. Igitur ex frúctibus eórum cognoscétis eos. Domenica della Resurrezione. Dio e’ presente in mezzo a noi. Allora disse Gesu’ ai suoi apostoli: guardatevi dai falsi profeti. Si riconoscono dai frutti!
Non chi dice “Signore, Signore” entrera’ nel regno dei cieli, ma chi obbedisce alla volonta di Dio!
Gesu’ si preoccupa del futuro e dei falsi profeti che saranno numerosi negli ultimi tempi. Occorre il nostro discernimento quindi.
I falsi profeti arrivano fino al vertice della Chiesa. Cio’ a causa del mancato discernimento, della faticosa riflessione sulle persone di cui possiamo avere fiducia. Il risultato e’ quello presente.
Anche nel popolo di Dio ci sono i falsi maestri e i falsi profeti. Hanno creato una coreografia falsa, un’apparenza esteriore del tutto ingannevole.
Ma i fedeli che vivono nell’emotivita’ sono facilmente influenzabili dall’apparenza.
E cosi i falsi maestri e falsi profeti hanno buon gioco. Siamo purtroppo facilmente manipolabili a meno che non poniamo grande attenzione e non studiamo di usare il nostro discernimento.
Occorre sempre controllare che la parole del Vangelo non siano manipolate.
Da cosa possiamo discernere? Dai frutti, ovvero le virtu’ cristiane vissute nel quotidiano, nel rapporto interpersonale, con il prossimo, la carita’ verso il prossimo. Non bastano la azioni clamorose ed eclatanti! Se queste virtu’ non ci sono allora attenti!

Resurrection Sunday. God is present among us, so Jesus said
to his apostles: beware of false prophets. They can be
recognized by the fruits! Not whoever says Lord, Lord will
enter the kingdom of heaven, but whoever obeys God’s will!
Jesus is concerned about the future and the false prophets
that will be numerous in the last times. Therefore, our
discernment is needed. False prophets reach the top of the
Church. This is due to the lack of discernment, the tiring
reflection on the people we can trust. The result is the
present one.
Even among God’s people there are false teachers and
false prophets. They created a false choreography, a
completely deceptive outward appearance. But the faithful
who live in emotion are easily influenced by appearance,
and so the false teachers and false prophets have a good
game. Unfortunately, we are easily manipulated unless we
pay great attention and do not try to use our discernment.
It is always necessary to check that the words of the
Gospel are not manipulated. What can we discern from?
From fruits, that is the Christian virtues lived in daily
life, in the interpersonal relationship, with the neighbor,
the charity towards the neighbor. The sensational events and
sensational actions are not enough! If these virtues
are not there then beware!
