Questo sabato e’ dedicato al Cuore Immacolato di Maria. Affinche lei presenti a Gesu’ la richiesta di grazie per noi.
Abbiamo udito le bellissime parole del Vangelo. Ma al Padre Nostro piace darci le ricchezze (soprattutto spirituali ma anche quelle materiali) del Suo Regno.
Facciamoci tesoro le cose eterne del Regno.
Oggi ricordiamo un santo particolare, umile francescano, Diego di Alcalà (San Nicolás del Puerto, 1400 – Alcalá de Henares, 12 novembre 1463), conosciuto come San Diego d’Alcalá, E’ stato un religioso spagnolo, venerato come santo dalla Chiesa cattolica. Si rese disponibile a predicare nelle Canarie e partecipò al giubileo a Roma durante la peste, dove si prodigò per aiutare la gente. Mori’ guardando il crocefisso. Il suo segreto era l’amore della contemplazione della Passione di Cristo.
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

This Saturday is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. So that you present to Jesus the request for thanks for us.
We have heard the beautiful words of the Gospel. But the Our Father likes to give us the riches (especially spiritual but also material ones) of His Kingdom. Let us treasure the eternal things of the Kingdom!
Today we remember a particular saint, humble Franciscan, Diego of Alcalà (San Nicolás del Puerto, 1400 – Alcalá de Henares, 12 November 1463), known as San Diego d’Alcalá.
He was a Spanish religious, venerated as a saint by the Catholic Church. He made himself available to preach in the Canaries and participated in the jubilee in Rome during the plague, where he did his utmost to help the people.
He died looking at the crucifix. His secret was the love of contemplation of the Passion of Christ.
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!

Ti preghiamo, oh Signore Nostro Gesu’, come Tu ci chiedi tramite l’intercessione di Tua Madre l’Immacolata, per:
– l’ispirazione quotidiana che ci dai per il proselitismo della fede
– la difesa della vita, dignita e liberta’ di scelta per tutti coloro che rifiutano il vaccino segno di satana
– la salvezza dei nostri fratelli, ovvero tutti i cristiani battezzati che credono in Te Signore
– la conversione dei peccatori, specialmente i cristiani freddi e senza vera fede
– l’evangelizzazione dei non cristiani
– la difesa del Depositum Fidei
– la difesa del Tuo Corpo vivente, o Signore, nella particola dell’Eucarestia.
Thank you, oh Lord Our Jesus, who allow us to pray to you in union with the souls of Heaven dear to us!
We pray You, oh Lord Our Jesus, as You ask through the intercession of your Mother the Immaculate, for:
– the daily inspiration that You give us for the proselitism of faith
– the defense of human life, dignity and freedom of choice for all people who reject the vaccine, a sign of Satan
– the salvation of our brothers, that is, all baptized Christians who believe in You Lord.
– the conversion of sinners, especially cold Christians without true faith.
– the evangelization of non-Christians
– the defense of the Depositum Fidei
– the defense of your living body, oh Lord, in the particle of the Eucharist.
Ti preghiamo, Signore, affinche’ lo Spirito ci doni la grazia del discernimento e della fede, per poter combattere satana e i suoi seguaci e in particolare i falsi maestri. Ti preghiamo di illuminare tutti noi affinche’, come tu ci hai insegnato abbiamo la forza di allontanarci dall’ascolto di queste persone ed evitare anche di pregare assieme con loro. Cominciando da:
– quelli che tradiscono la parola autentica delle rivelazioni della Beata Vergine Immacolata.
– quelli che non hanno il coraggio di dichiararsi pubblicamente, come fedeli al papa regnante Benedetto XVI,
– quelli che rifiutano di farlo dichiarando “non possiamo giudicare”, mentre invece nostro dovere e’ obbedire ai Comandamenti e quindi discernere sia il bene che il male, nonche’ il vero e il falso,
– quelli che si inventano false rivelazioni mistiche private e sono quindi falsi maestri,
– quelli che si dichiarano fedeli a un falso maestro e pur conoscendone gli errori continuano a seguirne i falsi insegnamenti rendendosi cosi’ suoi complici,
– quelli che alterano le parole autentiche delle rivelazioni mistiche approvate dalla Chiesa, solo per accreditarsi come veggenti (ma che cosi’ facendo si rivelano solo complici di satana),
-quelli che diffondono incessantemente falsi e malevoli giudizi sui veri cristiani, tramite la calunna, o addirittura la diffamazione e l’insulto personali, le manifestazione di odio
-quelli che peccano di narcisismo e compiacimento personali, nonche’ d’orgoglio e superbia intellettuale dipingendo se stessi come innocenti al pari di Gesu’ Cristo e della Beata Vergine Immacolata!
– quelli che per fini oscuri propalano disinformazione e notizie pseudoscientifiche palesemente false,
– ai tanti che fanno dipendere il loro giudizio da motivi di convenienza,
– e infine da coloro che, pur condannando a parole l’anti-chiesa, in realta’ la sostengono riconoscendo l’impostore come papa (ed evitando in tal modo la loro scomunica da parte della anti-chiesa).
We pray, Lord, that the Spirit may give us the grace of discernment and faith, to be able to fight Satan and his followers and in particular false teachers. Please enlighten all of us so that, as you have taught us, we have the strength to distance ourselves from listening to these people and also avoid praying together with them. Starting with:
– those who betray the authentic word of the revelations of the Immaculate Blessed Virgin.
– those who do not have the courage to declare themselves publicly, as faithful to the reigning pope Benedict XVI,
– those who refuse to do so by declaring “we cannot judge”, while instead our duty is to obey the Commandments and thus to discern both good and evil, as well as true and false,
– those who invent false private mystical revelations and are therefore false teachers,
– those who declare themselves faithful to a false teacher and even knowing his/her errors continue to follow his/her false teachings, thus becoming his/her accomplices,
– those who alter the authentic words of the mystical revelations approved by the Church, only to be accredited as seers (but who in doing so reveal themselves only as accomplices of Satan),
– those who incessantly spread false and malevolent judgments on true Christians, through slander, or even personal defamation and insult, the manifestation of hatred
– those who sin of narcissism and personal satisfaction, as well as of pride and intellectual arrogance by portraying themselves as innocent like Jesus Christ and the Immaculate Blessed Virgin!
– those who for obscure purposes propagate disinformation and clearly false pseudoscientific news,
– to the many who make their judgment dependent on reasons of convenience,
– and finally by those who, while condemning the anti-church in words, actually support it by recognizing the impostor as pope (and thus avoiding their excommunication by the anti-church).
Mandaci Signore, tramite lo Spirito Santo Paraclito, le grazie che Tu ritieni necessarie. In particolare ti chiediamo la grazia del discernimento, della carita’ e della mitezza e infine la forza di per poter rispettare la regola del silenzio che hai dettato a Santa Faustina Kowalska, ovvero di non rispondere alle offese e alle insinuazioni maligne ispirate dei falsi cristiani.
Send us, Lord, through the Holy Spirit Paraclete, the graces that you think necessary. In particular we ask you those of discernment, charity and meekness and finally the strength to be able to respect the rule of silence that you dictated to Saint Faustina Kowalska, or not to respond to the insinuations and malicious insinuations inspired by false Christians.
Infine, oh Gesu’ nostro Signore, ti preghiamo di poter diventare parte – se e’ possibile, anche se sappiamo che questo e’ riservato ai prescelti da Dio Padre stesso – del Piccolo Resto Celeste, cosicche’ possiamo cantare le nostre preghiere assieme a tutti i Salvati.

Ti preghiamo, oh Vergine della Rivelazione, secondo le intenzioni della Tua Crociata di Preghiera. Preghiera che ci hai insegnato tramite Bruno Cornacchiola, e che recitiamo per la conversione degli atei, dei non cristiani e dei cristiani confusi dal fumo di satana. In cambio di ogni conversione cosi’ concessa dallo Spirito Santo, Tu hai promesso di mandare in cielo un’anima del Limbo!

– show us with your revelations and suggest the right answers for the daily choices of discernment.

Ti preghiamo inoltre per le anime che sono nel Limbo, specialmente le vittime innocenti dell’aborto. Ti preghiamo, Signore, affinche’ lo Spirito ci doni la grazia del discernimento e della fede, per poter combattere satana e i suoi seguaci e in particolare i falsi maestri. Ti preghiamo di illuminare tutti noi affinche’, come tu ci hai insegnato abbiamo la forza di allontanarci dall’ascolto di queste persone ed evitare anche di pregare assieme con loro. Cominciando da:
– quelli che tradiscono la parola autentica delle rivelazioni della Beata Vergine Immacolata.
– quelli che non hanno il coraggio di dichiararsi pubblicamente, come fedeli al papa regnante Benedetto XVI,
– quelli che rifiutano di farlo dichiarando “non possiamo giudicare”, mentre invece nostro dovere e’ obbedire ai Comandamenti e quindi discernere sia il bene che il male, nonche’ il vero e il falso,
– quelli che si inventano false rivelazioni mistiche private e sono quindi falsi maestri,
– quelli che si dichiarano fedeli a un falso maestro e pur conoscendone gli errori continuano a seguirne i falsi insegnamenti rendendosi cosi’ suoi complici,
– quelli che alterano le parole autentiche delle rivelazioni mistiche approvate dalla Chiesa, solo per accreditarsi come veggenti (ma che cosi’ facendo si rivelano solo complici di satana),
-quelli che diffondono incessantemente falsi e malevoli giudizi sui veri cristiani, tramite la calunna, o addirittura la diffamazione e l’insulto personali, le manifestazione di odio
-quelli che peccano di narcisismo e compiacimento personali, nonche’ d’orgoglio e superbia intellettuale dipingendo se stessi come innocenti al pari di Gesu’ Cristo e della Beata Vergine Immacolata!
– quelli che per fini oscuri propalano disinformazione e notizie pseudoscientifiche palesemente false,
– ai tanti che fanno dipendere il loro giudizio da motivi di convenienza,
– e infine da coloro che, pur condannando a parole l’anti-chiesa, in realta’ la sostengono riconoscendo l’impostore come papa (ed evitando in tal modo la loro scomunica da parte della anti-chiesa).
We pray, Lord, that the Spirit may give us the grace of discernment and faith, to be able to fight Satan and his followers and in particular false teachers. Please enlighten all of us so that, as you have taught us, we have the strength to distance ourselves from listening to these people and also avoid praying together with them. Starting with:
– those who betray the authentic word of the revelations of the Immaculate Blessed Virgin.
– those who do not have the courage to declare themselves publicly, as faithful to the reigning pope Benedict XVI,
– those who refuse to do so by declaring “we cannot judge”, while instead our duty is to obey the Commandments and thus to discern both good and evil, as well as true and false,
– those who invent false private mystical revelations and are therefore false teachers,
– those who declare themselves faithful to a false teacher and even knowing his/her errors continue to follow his/her false teachings, thus becoming his/her accomplices,
– those who alter the authentic words of the mystical revelations approved by the Church, only to be accredited as seers (but who in doing so reveal themselves only as accomplices of Satan),
– those who incessantly spread false and malevolent judgments on true Christians, through slander, or even personal defamation and insult, the manifestation of hatred
– those who sin of narcissism and personal satisfaction, as well as of pride and intellectual arrogance by portraying themselves as innocent like Jesus Christ and the Immaculate Blessed Virgin!
– those who for obscure purposes propagate disinformation and clearly false pseudoscientific news,
– to the many who make their judgment dependent on reasons of convenience,
– and finally by those who, while condemning the anti-church in words, actually support it by recognizing the impostor as pope (and thus avoiding their excommunication by the anti-church).
Mandaci Signore, tramite lo Spirito Santo Paraclito, le grazie che Tu ritieni necessarie. In particolare ti chiediamo la grazia del discernimento, della carita’ e della mitezza e infine la forza di per poter rispettare la regola del silenzio che hai dettato a Santa Faustina Kowalska (4),ovvero di non rispondere alle offese e alle insinuazioni maligne ispirate dei falsi cristiani.
Send us, Lord, through the Holy Spirit Paraclete, the graces that you think necessary. May 8, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — In a new interview, Bishop Athanasius Schneider makes it clear that the pope’s private correction of his official Abu Dhabi statement — according to which the “diversity of religions” is “willed by God” — that Bishop Schneider himself was able to receive from Pope Francis on March 1 is not sufficient. The Abu Dhabi statement “is still valid,” and thus, says Schneider, “there is being proclaimed a new Gospel, a Gospel that is not the one taught by the Incarnate Word of God, that was loyally preached by the Apostles and passed on to the Church.”
“There can be no doubt,” Schneider explains, “that Saint Paul would say today, concerning this controversial formulation in the Abu Dhabi statement: ‘But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema’ (Galatians 1:8–9).”

Papa Francesco ha firmato il controverso “Documento sulla fratellanza umana per la pace mondiale e la convivenza comune” con Grande Imam Ahmad el-Tayeb ad Abu Dhabi il 4 febbraio 2019.
“A oggi, né il papa né alcun ufficio della Santa Sede che parli a suo nome ha fatto una correzione pubblica con riferimento esplicito ai passi dubbi concernenti la ‘diversità delle religioni’” contenuti nella dichiarazione di Abu Dhabi, spiega Schneider in un’intervista a Gloria.tv. “Pertanto”, egli conclude, “la formula riguardante la diversità delle religioni è ancora valida”.
Nell’intervista, il Vescovo Schneider fornisce ulteriori dettagli sui vari sviluppi relativi alla sua discussione con Papa Francesco sulla dichiarazione di Abu Dhabi.
Egli ribadisce che la correzione datagli dal papa durante un’udienza il 1° marzo è solo di “carattere privato”, e spiega che lo stesso giorno egli ha consegnato al papa una lettera chiedendogli di “revocare” l’affermazione sulla “diversità delle religioni”. Il 5 marzo Papa Francesco ha risposto via lettera al Vescovo Schneider affermando che nel documento di Abu Dhabi l’espressione “è voluta da Dio” si riferisce alla “volontà permissiva di Dio”.
“Pertanto, il 25 marzo ho scritto un’altra lettera personale”, racconta Schneider. In quella lettera egli ha chiesto al papa di ripetere “pubblicamente a tutta la Chiesa” quanto gli aveva detto e scritto in privato, “perché la confusione sulla verità del fatto che la fede in Gesù Cristo come unico Redentore dell’umanità è l’unica religione direttamente e sicuramente voluta da Dio cresce quotidianamente nella Chiesa”. (Ci si chiede come potrebbe reagire il Grande Imam Ahmad el-Tayeb a una tale correzione della dichiarazione di Abu Dhabi.)
Alla domanda se Papa Francesco abbia parlato esplicitamente della “volontà permissiva di Dio” a proposito della diversità delle religioni durante l’udienza generale del 3 aprile e se il papa non abbia in questo modo “rimosso il problema”, il Vescovo Schneider replica: “Con questa formula Papa Francesco non fa un riferimento diretto al passo alquanto discusso della dichiarazione di Abu Dhabi”. Inoltre, afferma il prelato, egli non menziona alcun insegnamento esplicito che affermi che la fede in Gesù Cristo “è l’unica religione sicuramente voluta da Dio”. Il Vescovo Schneider riferisce che Papa Francesco gli ha inviato di persona una copia dell’affermazione fatta durante l’udienza generale del 3 aprile. Ma aggiunge che anche se questa dichiarazione del 3 aprile può essere considerata un “piccolo passo avanti”, si dà ancora il fatto che “la dichiarazione che è in sé scorretta e che si trova nel documento di Abu Dhabi continua a rimanere intatta senza nessuna chiara e autentica correzione proveniente dalla Chiesa” e che “si sta anzi diffondendo sempre di più insieme alla sua formulazione oggettivamente erronea”.
“Così”, afferma il Vescovo Schneider, “la verità dell’unicità di Gesù Cristo come Redentore dell’umanità e, di conseguenza, la fede in Lui intesa come unica religione voluta da Dio vengono relativizzate. In questo modo aumenta sempre di più il pericolo che l’essenza dell’intero Vangelo e, con essa, quella del depositum fidei [deposito della fede] vengano negate”.
Di fronte alla crescente relativizzazione dell’“unicità del Nostro Signore e Redentore Gesù Cristo”, spiega il prelato, è oggi ancora più importante che “l’intera Chiesa e, per primo, Papa Francesco” parlino apertamente di questo tema. “Il documento di Abu Dhabi, tuttavia, non ha aiutato la missione principale della Chiesa”.
Egli fa anche notare che il 21 febbraio 2019 il Consiglio Pontificio per il Dialogo Interreligioso ha inviato una lettera “a tutte le università della Chiesa” con l’esplicita richiesta di diffondere a tutti i livelli i princìpi contenuti all’interno del documento di Abu Dhabi. Nelle sue ultime frasi, il Vescovo Schneider esprime il suo “ardente desiderio” che ogni giorno “un numero sempre più grande di voci di vescovi, sacerdoti e fedeli si innalzi per chiedere al papa rispettosamente e con amore di correggere senza ambiguità la dichiarazione contenuta nel documento di Abu Dhabi”.

Oggi commemoriamo San Martino I (Todi, 600 circa – Cherson, 16 settembre 655) papa e martire eletto papa della Chiesa cattolica dal luglio 649 alla sua morte, venerato come santo dalla Chiesa cattolica e dalle Chiese ortodosse.
Durava da molti anni la controversia tra Santa Sede e l’imperatore bizantino (spalleggiato dal patriarca di Costantinopoli) sul problema delle volontà di Cristo. E’ il cosiddetto conflitto sul monotelismo. Secondo queste eresia veniva negata la doppia natura divina e umana di Gesu’ Cristo. La controversia era rimasta senza soluzione fino a quel momento. Uno dei primissimi atti ufficiali di Martino fu la convocazione, subito dopo la sua elezione, di un sinodo (il primo concilio Lateranense, il primo anche ad essere stato indetto senza l’autorizzazione dell’imperatore), per contrastare l’eresia monotelita. Ma l’imperatore subito dopo il concilio lo fece incarcerare ed esiliare in Crimea dove mori’ martire.
I papi della tradizione hanno affrontato al prezzo della loro vita la difesa del Depositum Fidei. Ora il falso papa tradisce ogni dogma e insegnamento di Cristo, mentre il vero papa, Benedetto XVI, sta subendo un lento martirio.
Dobbiamo pregare per lui, vittima della Chiesa, facendogli giungere il nostro amore e devozione.
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Today we commemorate St. Martin I (Todi, about 600 – Cherson, 16 September 655) pope and martyr elected pope of the Catholic Church from July 649 to his death, venerated as a saint by the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Churches.
The controversy between the Holy See and the Byzantine emperor (backed by the patriarch of Constantinople) over the problem of Christ’s will lasted for many years.
It is the so-called conflict over monothelism. According to these heresy, the double divine and human nature of Jesus Christ was denied.
The controversy had remained unresolved until then. One of Martin’s very first official acts was the convocation, immediately after his election, of a synod (the first Lateran council, also the first to be held without the authorization of the emperor), to counter the Monothelite heresy.
But the emperor immediately after the council had him imprisoned and exiled to the Crimea where he died as a martyr.
The popes of the tradition faced the cost of their lives by defending the Depositum Fidei.
Now the false pope is betraying every dogma and teaching of Christ, while the true pope, Benedict XVI, is undergoing a slow martyrdom.
We must pray for him, victim of the Church, making our love and devotion reach him.

Israel carries out national ‘Omega variant’ COVID drill to ‘prepare for any scenario

JERUSLAEM (LifeSiteNews) — Israel has carried out a national COVID drill Thursday in preparation for a potential new COVID-19 variant.
The “Omega drill” was named after a fictitious COVID strain. It was announced yesterday on the official website of the Israeli government, and held today at Israel’s National Management Center in Jerusalem; a blast-proof war-bunker designed for the management of nationwide crises.
The drill was led by Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who said it was intended to prepare Israel “for any scenario.”
It took the format of three war-game like sessions designed to simulate the passage of time between various scenarios, including lockdown and quarantine measures, the closure of schools, gathering restrictions, curfews, mass-testing, vaccine booster campaigns, etc.
Bennett explained the aim of the exercise in a statement published yesterday on the Israeli government’s website. He said the epidemiological situation in Israel is now better than in the rest of the world.
“We’re always looking ahead and preparing for the continuation of the campaign,” he explained, after claiming that Israel was able to “beat the fourth wave” and was on its way toward “exiting the Delta variant.”
“We are continuing to hold drills and to challenge ourselves,” he said.
Israel put in place some of the toughest COVID restrictions in the world throughout 2020 and 2021 and was one of the first countries to impose a vaccine passport on its citizens. It also achieved one of the highest vaccination rates with more than 60% of its entire population having been fully vaccinated to date, and nearly 70% having received at least one dose, according to Our World in Data.
Israel has recently reopened its borders to vaccinated tourists only and is preparing to start vaccination on children aged 5 to 11.
But in spite of its high vaccination rates, the country has recently logged one of the world’s highest infection rates in the world, with more than half of the total number of cases being among fully vaccinated people.
To tackle the insufficient and rapidly waning protection provided by the experimental COVID shots, Israel launched a nationwide booster shot campaign. Nevertheless, so-called “breakthrough” infections have continued to occur among those who have received the top-ups.

Back in August, Israeli news reported that 14 Israelis who received a third “booster” dose of the Pfizer vaccine tested positive for COVID within one week of their third shot.
In addition, a March analysis showed dramatic rates of vaccine-related deaths in the country. And only last week, a particularly horrifying Instagram video showed a young woman convulsing on a stretcher while being carried to an ambulance, as a man filming the scene is heard shouting. Yet, the Israeli prime minister sounded optimistic about the situation in the country.
“Israel is safe and protected,” he assured, adding that “in order to maintain this, and to safeguard the continuity of normal life, we must continue to closely monitor the situation and prepare for any scenario.”
Israel is officially the first country in the world to have carried out a drill of this kind, but others have discussed the idea.
Only last week, the concept was promoted by billionaire population control and vaccine advocate Bill Gates in a wide-ranging 30-minute interview with leading British politician Jeremy Hunt.
After expressing some dissatisfaction with the global response to COVID-19, Gates explained that he now wants to see politicians planning for “future pandemics,” building on the back of 2020’s concerted efforts by having international bodies establish medical surveillance programs and begin to “practice” responding to possible biological threats using a series of “germ games.”
Only three days prior to his interview with Jeremy Hunt, Gates met with the Israeli Prime Minister at the UN climate change conference on November 2.
In fact, Israel may not be the only country in the world to have carried out a drill of this nature.
Indeed, according to an analysis published by LifeSiteNews two months ago, a 2019 federal law, the Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness and Advancing Innovation Act of 2019, which was passed by Congress and signed into law on June 24, 2019, appears to indicate that the U.S. government may be engaging in large-scale COVID-19 ‘drills’ without alerting the public.
The pandemic law grants broad authority for the government to use “national” drills without notice to “respond” to alleged pandemic threats.

In illo témpore: Venit Iesus in partes Cæsaréæ Philíppi, et interrogábat discípulos suos, dicens: Quem dicunt hómines esse Fílium hóminis?
Oggi commemoriamo San Martino I (Todi, 600 circa – Cherson, 16 settembre 655) papa e martire eletto papa della Chiesa cattolica dal luglio 649 alla sua morte, venerato come santo dalla Chiesa cattolica e dalle Chiese ortodosse.
Durava da molti anni la controversia tra Santa Sede e l’imperatore bizantino (spalleggiato dal patriarca di Costantinopoli) sul problema delle volontà di Cristo. E’ il cosiddetto conflitto sul monotelismo. Secondo queste eresia veniva negata la doppia natura divinas e umana di Gesu’ Cristo. La controversia era rimasta senza soluzione fino a quel momento. Uno dei primissimi atti ufficiali di Martino fu la convocazione, subito dopo la sua elezione, di un sinodo (il primo concilio Lateranense, il primo anche ad essere stato indetto senza l’autorizzazione dell’imperatore), per contrastare l’eresia monotelita. Ma l’imperatore subito dopo il concilio lo fece incarcerare ed esiliare in Crimea dove mori’ martire.
I papi della ttradizione hanno affrontato alprezzo della loro vita la difesa del Depositum Fidei. Ora il falso papa tradisce ogni dogma e insegnamento di Cristo, mentre il vero papa, Benedetto XVI, sta subendo un lento martirio.
Dobbiamo pregare per lui, vittima della Chiesa, facendogli giungere il nostro amore e devozione.
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

Today we commemorate St. Martin I (Todi, about 600 – Cherson, 16 September 655) pope and martyr elected pope of the Catholic Church from July 649 to his death, venerated as a saint by the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Churches.
The controversy between the Holy See and the Byzantine emperor (backed by the patriarch of Constantinople) over the problem of Christ’s will lasted for many years.
It is the so-called conflict over monothelism. According to these heresy, the double divine and human nature of Jesus Christ was denied.
The controversy had remained unresolved until then. One of Martin’s very first official acts was the convocation, immediately after his election, of a synod (the first Lateran council, also the first to be held without the authorization of the emperor), to counter the Monothelite heresy.
But the emperor immediately after the council had him imprisoned and exiled to the Crimea where he died as a martyr.
The popes of the tradition faced the cost of their lives by defending the Depositum Fidei.
Now the false pope is betraying every dogma and teaching of Christ, while the true pope, Benedict XVI, is undergoing a slow martyrdom.
We must pray for him, victim of the Church, making our love and devotion reach him.
