Evangelium Matt 19:27-29

Gospel  Matt 19:27-29.
At that time, Peter said to Jesus, Behold, we have left all and followed You; what then shall we have? And Jesus said to them, Amen I say to you that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man shall sit on the throne of His glory, shall also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall possess life everlasting.

DALL’OMELIA DI (FROM THE HOMILY BY) DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA – VENERDI 26 NOVEMBRE, S.MESSA ORE 8.00.

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*)

Matt 19:27-29.

Arriveranno i castighi.

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**)

Matt 19:27-29.

And everyone who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall possess life everlasting.

Today we celebrate New Year’s Eve Abbot, born Silvestro Guzzolini (Osimo, around 1177 – Fabriano, 26 November 1267).

He was a Benedictine abbot, founder of the Congregation of the Silvestrini, and is venerated as a saint by the Catholic Church.

One day in front of the open chest of a dead man, he had the idea that everything in life is going bad.

He then had the idea of taking refuge in a hermitage. L ‘had the idea of creating an order. “Penance and prayer” this is his motto.

This must also be our motto for the contemporary Church.

The punishments will come. Many souls will not be ready. The BVM says this in the apparitions of Fatima.

Therefore, prayers and penance are needed for the times we live in.

Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
